Joyce’s Bag Pattern
Here’s a pattern I’d like to share with you guys. I’m sorry if my grammar is incorrect!

Joyce’s Bag Pattern
Basic Pattern:
Row 1: Knit
Row 2: Purl
Row 3: Knit 2 stitches, *put 3 stitches on a cable needle and hold it on the back of the work, knit 3 stitches, knit 3 stitches on the cable needle.* Repeat from * to * until there are 2 stitches left. Knit 2.
Row 4: Purl
Row 5: Knit
Row 6: Purl
Row 7: Knit 5, **put 3 stitches on a cable needle and hold it on the front of the work, knit 3 stitches, knit 3 stitches on the cable needle.* Repeat from * to * until there are 5 stitches left. Knit 5.
Row 8: Purl
Side one:
Cast on 76 stitches and begin with the pattern as written above. Repeat these 8 rows 13 times. Cast off.
Side two:
Repeat side one.
Handle:
Cast on 28 stitches and begin with the pattern as written above. Repeat these 8 rows 30 times. Cast off. Offcourse you can add rows if you want to make the handle longer. Just make sure you finish 8 rows before casting off.
Then put the pieces together. Make sure the two sides of the handle meet on the bottom of the bag.
